Returned to the Merry Crab after a three year gap(covid, new ownership). Doing my annual bike ride from Kilifi to Watamu without using the Malindi highway so need a lift over Mida creek. Arrived dusty, sweaty and very thirsty. Greeted with big smiles all round and offers of refreshment. Must say, the hotel was looking very bright and fresh which has to be down to new owner Miles who came and greeted me and escorted me over the Creek. I wish him and his friendly staff the very best. See you all next year, fantastically friendly hotel. Tony S PS. Mountain Bikers, it was 32 miles in 30’ heat 🥵
