Lovely hotel with a wonderful restaurant. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They are always greeting and smiling to us. Hotel is full of great art. Just a charming place. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the tourists who want to visit Nanyuki! The restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert. I recommend to everyone!

Thank you Kongoni camp nanyuki for the wonderful experience . The rooms are super comfortable from the clean bathroom , fresh sheets and perfect bed . We really enjoyed our stay here . The restaurant does serve good food , we had the TBone steak 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Anytime I'm in nyanyuki I sleep at Kongoni for the right reasons the food, rooms, service but I have to acknowledge this time round, the service was nothing short of exceptional.  The front office lady was super welcoming and professional plus ensured we got a room to our liking (we wanted and xtra bed in our room -done) ...the housekeeping lady ( can't recall her name (Sandra perhaps) after complaining my mattress was too hard she gladly got me another mattress and eddah (the waiter warm individual ) not forgetting the chef (a lady) the food was top notch no comments additions so on 🎯🎯. The team represented Kongoni so well as opposed to other times I have come. Funny how other times, I asked for the exact requests above and was told its not possible. Asked for the manager and the lady in the front desk told me ohhh I'm the manager and I can't help you right now. Take what is available (Mark you during covid times this yr when hotels were shutting down) . 
Honestly, the team should be rewarded if anything...I was loosing my faith with Kongoni after a few incidences one mentioned above but these power team renewed my faith.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and can highly recommend it. The food was exceptional with a great variety of both western and Indian dishes. A well stocked bar and fabulous coffee. Lovely staff and great facilities. 

Spent the past few days there and the peace it served was more than I expected. Well within range of different landmarks if you're the adventurous type.

The rooms(single) were all ensuite, no issue with utilities or amenities. The staff are ready to help if you have any query and very friendly. I put together an Irish coffee once, Rose made sure I had it every day. Chef's breakfast hit the spot from day 1. Small tip: It's really filling. They really stuck to our preferences regardless of hour or meal(every breakfast). 

Also, the owner...can't pass a day without him reaching out or checking up on you! You'll feel at home.

I went here with friends for on a much needed day off. I will 100% be going back again. 

Covid measures are in place. Temps are being checked and masks are being worn by all staff. 

The pool is small but very clean. The area around the pool is well kept and tidy. 

The food was really tasty. I’d recommend the garlic fries and samosas. 

I had an amazing massage with Esther. I opted for the aromatherapy massage which lasted an hour and cost 2800ksh. It was absolute bliss. 

Can’t wait to go back again.

The ambience, jazz band, food. It was all so beautiful. The service offered being christmas day was very efficient.
The taste of the food was exquisite and the amount was enough. 
I had pizza and shared a plate of sushi with family, it did not disappoint.
Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for just the one night on my first night in Kenya. Beautiful hotel, excellent food, with lovely rooms and a great nights sleep! Only small issue was the amount of Liverpool FC flags/scarves in the bar, and more importantly, lack of Manchester United flags!!! Joking aside, would highly recommend ...

A beautiful quiet place, very patient and polite staff, amazing dishes and variety of them, the rooms are wonderful and it's ideal if you want to visit all the tourist attractions l, definitely recommend it to anyone

I didn't stay overnight but I did spend several of my days off on my backside next to the pool sipping beer. Kongoni Camp is a nice place to be, in the 4 months I was in the area I never saw more than a couple of people by the pool at any one time. It really is a tranquil little place nestled into the corner of a hectic hive of activity. 

Firstly I want to point out that I'm not overly keen on being served beer in large plastic pretend glasses. I understand it's a 'by the pool' safety thing but it really doesn't taste the same, and more often than not the beer is warm. Additional to this, the service can be slow (yes it's a Kenyan thing). 

But here is where things get good... the food is impressive. The steak is excellent, huge cuts of soft meat cooked well. Most memorable of all though, was the mutton curry (SEE PHOTOS). Absolutely delicious, and like no other curry I've ever eaten. I wish I knew the recipe. 

There is a private car - park on site, some goats grazing nonchalantly on the grass near the pool and several security operatives. All in all a good spot to spend the day if you fancy winding down in relative peace and quiet.

Hidden gem.

This is a very nice park like area with a pool and other facilities.

The children loved the pool and the food was good ( I recommend the cheese burger and fries). The service was not very speedy but quite ok. The SPA was simple but the Swedish Massage very professionally  executed. We will return...

A good place for a day by the piol

Kongoni is a relatively small rustic hotel. The decor is set to mirror the 50s look with lots of paisley and orange decor. 
Friendly staff all over who were helpful. 
They run an a la carte restaurants with relatively large portions. Be careful if you’re too tired after the days activities you may not finish your portions. We couldn’t get to the dessert. The food is quite delicious; especially the pizzas 🍕 and breakfast too. 
Rooms are very pretty clean. Shower gel and lotions are all natural and locally made with refreshing scents. 
It has a solar heated pool and water used within the bathrooms is also solar heated. 
I would recommend it 💯
