Underwhelming experience overall, especially at $600+/N; I would not come back. 
- Note it's a small conservancy, so your game drives there would be fairly limited; if I go back to a conservancy, I'd pick a larger one (but may just focus on the reserve, which has a higher density of wildlife, although some limitations as you can't drive offroad or do a walk)
- I liked the overall set up/location: very remote!
- Tents look good, but some serious issues to fix: toilet flush wouldn't stop at night; the tarpaulin sheet between the shower and the room is NOT connected to the floor so water got into the room (and personal belongings got wet...); no commercial gesture was offered to compensate us for the inconvenience, which was disappointing
- Good food


Overpriced, small conservancy

Had a perfect time at Kandili Camp! Every staff member went above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience. The tents/whole camp area were lovely and comfortable. The food was amazing; I even have a weird food allergy, and they were very accommodating. Jackson took me on game drives, and was so kind and knowledgeable. 

10/10 experience 

Amazing experience! The tents were very comfortable and being in an open camp was a really neat feature! But what stood out to us the most was the amazing staff! Truly the hardest working, kindest people. We highly recommend a stay here!

Incredible Staff

Even though the rooms are beautiful and the views and location are amazing (right in the middle of the sabana with wild animals around you), what makes this place truly unique is the staff: extremely kind and caring people that make you feel very welcome and are there for everything you need, and since there are just a few rooms, the whole experience feels very personalized. 100% recommend!! 

Best hotel ever 

This is my 4th trip to Masai Mara. The last lodges were chosen by me. This time I wanted a calmer place and the closest possible to nature.
 
I have chosen Kandili and this place is really wonderful. Away from the turmoil of Masai Mara. To be outside of the park is not always good, but to get a place like this inside the park would be very expensive. Excellent staff, good food and very good tents.
 
Regarding the negative aspect is the lack of information and the misleading information.
 
Leopard Gorge 
 
I was convinced there would be the wild life reported in the internet and in the lodge website. This was really disappointing. Travelers around the world come here to watch wild life and is forced to visit Masai Mara reserve.
The Leopard Gorge Consevancy can be visited in a two-hour tour, the place is nice, different from the Mara National Reserve but with no game.

We had an amazing stay at Kandili Camp. It is in an amazing location with excellent staff. We would highly recommend.

What a beautiful camp with fantastic staff. From the moment Jackson picked us up at Musiara airstrip we knew we were in for an amazing family experience, Kandili Camp did not disappoint. Our 3 night stay was perfect. The accommodation and food were just lovely. We loved our picnic breakfasts, lunches & game drives. Jackson was a superb guide, who was patient and took time to explain so much to us about the animals, birds and people living in the Mara. 
I would highly recommend Kandili Camp.

Fantastic!

I loved my stay here!! I’m normally an inside person that doesn’t love camping and things like that. This camp was the perfect in between for me. I got a nice bed, a warm shower and really good meals. I got to sleep in a tent and hear the animals in the evenings. I loved waking up and hearing the birds in the morning. The staff here was incredible!! We loved talking Fredrick our waiter. He gave us so much information on the Masai people. He was such a happy face every time we saw him! Jackson took us on a walking safari and kept us from being charged by a buffalo! We had a great time here! We felt loved and important to all the people there. 10/10 would stay again!

Great for non outdoorsy people!

Spent three nights glamping at this wonderful campsite. Five stars to the chef!  The meals were amazing!  Eggs to order, crepes, fresh fruit, Quiche, fish, I could go on!  Frederick was so sweet and accommodating and Jackson guided us for an amazing walk about one morning answering many questions and protecting us from Cape Buffalo!  What a great Maasi warrior!  We had so much fun at the camp and everyone was so sweet and friendly!  HIGHLY recommend glamping with them while you enjoy the Maasi Mari!

Glamping at its finest!

We stayed here during a recent trip and found this to be the best of the places we stayed in country. We were greeted warmly on arrival by the team who was welcoming, low-key, and friendly. The site is of a manageable size. Our tent was large, furnished, and comfortable, with many windows looking out to great views of the surrounding conservancy. The food was good and the tea was plentiful. Drinks were available for those who wanted them. The walking safari in the conservancy was interesting and not strenuous. The facilities were convenient, understated and well-maintained. It is expensive, but it is totally worth the experience.
The staff is also a strength of the camp. From the manager all the way down the line every staff member we met was extremely friendly, helpful, welcoming, generous with time, attentive without looming, and a pleasure to talk to at length. I definitely recommend this Camp to friends and family and we would stay there again.
