This resort is absolutely beautiful. The rooms and sleeping are comfortable, and the restaurant serves a terrific buffet, every single person who works there that we encountered was incredibly pleasant, kind, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The grounds are amazing, with zebras, monkeys, Giraffes, and even hippos close by and available to see from your room. Highly recommend that you visit this beautiful area in a beautiful country.

We loved our stay at the hotel, and the service was excellent, considering we traveled with a baby.

The rooms are in good condition and the shower water is quite hot.

It was lovely seeing the animals quite close to the rooms and the general security of the hotel was very good.

Kudos to the staff as well!

Amazing and beautiful place at the naivasha Lake ,  you can actually walk with zebras , jirafas and waterbuck and at nights you can see the Hipos walking next very close to you .. with a  fence sepa but it’s amazing to have them see close ..
Julius our guard walk us around the resort to see all the animals and he is so passionate about his job , he made a very special connection with us .. 
everyone in the resort work very good we love all the people but my favorite was Julius .. and the girl that was greeting us in the restaurant and she make special effort in speaking Spanish for us I love that she tried .. I am Mexican and it feels. Nice to listening some Spanish..
The hotel it’s beautiful the trees are incredible.. and the restaurant and bar area are so beautiful.. definitely coming back

Although we were here for just one night, we were really impressed by the well appointed rooms and the natural beauty around this resort. A walk to lake shore is a must and a visit to the giraffes too. On the way wildlife abounds with zebras and other animals feeding in the gardens. Truly impressive. Food is good and staff is friendly and polite.

As a tour operator, I highly recommend Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort. My clients had a fantastic stay — the staff were welcoming, the rooms spacious and comfortable, and the grounds beautifully maintained. They especially loved seeing wildlife like giraffes and zebras right on the property. The food was excellent, and the service was smooth and professional throughout. A truly memorable experience and a great choice for both individual travelers and groups.

If you are going to Naivasha/Nakuru, this is highly recommended. Rooms are spacious and have a sit out area. There are zebras and giraffes roaming around the hotel, which is an experience in itself. Food is also great. We were also lucky to watch a rhino on the other side of the fence, a 100 feet away during the night

Family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) loved our 2 nights stay here. Property is beautiful and added bonus was to see zebras and giraffes inside the property. Zebras are often found heading just outside the rooms. Staff were super courteous, buffet had variety of options for vegetarians. Rooms had mosquito nets and folks would also come to spray for bugs in the evenings. We were also able to see the hippos out in the property at night with a security guard who walked with us. Overall an amazing stay

Beautiful rooms with lake view. You can see giraffes and zebras outside the room. You can also see hippos at night. Mosquito nets provided and the visit the room during night for spraying. Staff are courteous. Nice buffet spread . No water provided in restaurant is the only drawback. Battery operated cycles provided for going around. Want to visit again

This has to be the most amazing place in Naivasha🙌🏻. From the entrance the place just felt so natural, the trees 🌳🌲all around the massive property with the giraffes 🦒walking within. Thank you Leshan for hosting us. 
the restaurant has one of the most impressive feels and the food, I was spoilt for choice. The pool is really impressive, coupled with the pizza oven and the tennis court by the pool bar. I loved it here, and will most definitely be back again for longer...

Wonderful

We spent 3 nights at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge and it was wonderful. We had a very welcome from the staff who in addition went out of their way to be kind and friendly to my daughter. I absolutely loved the attention they gave her and she in turn totally fell in love with the place. There were many food choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As a plus, they also had gluten-free food options which were quite tasty. The only flip side, is that one has to buy drinks during lunch and dinner and the pillows were a little stiff. But overall it was a wonderful experience. To top it off, they gave us gifts: an elephant cuddly for my daughter and a kanga for me. That was very thoughtful of them. 

We took a boat ride to Cresent Island and a drive to the Hells Gate and the Geothermal Spa in Olkaria which provided a nice break from the hotel.

Lovely spot for a quick getaway from Nairobi!
