15 reviewsI stayed at Rauan hotel for one night. It is very easy to reach. Take bus number 10 (90 tenge + 90 tenge if you have luggage) from the airport and get down at the old train station, cross the road, walk 12 metres then turn right at the petrol station and walk 7 metres, it is right there. The staff is friendly, however they don't speak a word of English, so you need to work on your Russian to make yourself understood. The area is full of restaurants and mini supermarkets. The breakfast is excellent and offers good varieties. Bus number 10 from the station (the same one used to to reach the hotel) goes to the main sightseeing spots, malls, and specifically to Mega mall through which you walk to reach to the expo grounds. Rates were very good, I paid around 27 US$ for a single room with bath, shower, breakfast and a very comfortable bed.
