What an amazing experience. Super chilled vibe around camp with traditional Bedouin/Jordanian feasts. These were only a part of the charms of what is on offer here. Atayek is a great host and has a wealth of information to share, he goes above and beyond to ensure you have a memorable trip in the desert. I felt honoured to have this authentic experience with him and his family. Whether climbing, hiking or just wanting a taste of life in and around the desert, I would highly recommend the Bedouin Family Camp. Thanks Atayek for a truly memorable experience.

Atayek and his family and the Wadi Rum community could not have been more welcoming and fun to spend time with! The camp is brilliant, we had some beautiful meals, and heard stories and songs around the fire. We got taken to a beautiful spot to climb the rocks and watch the sun set over the most magical place I’ve ever been to. Cannot recommend enough, I felt very safe and welcome the whole time and will definitely be back! Thanks Atayek

I had a really great time in Wadi Rum with Bedouin Family Camp and my guide Atayek. He's a very friendly and welcoming person and speaks english very well. He knows all hidden places and great viewpoints in Wadi Rum. At some points he dropped me at the beginning of a trail or canyon and picked me up again on the other side. As I was travelling alone this was really a fantastic experience. The night in the camp was truly magic. After a traditional Bedouin dinner prepared in an sand oven I sat together with other fellow travellers enjoying the silence, the change of lights and the starry sky. I can highly recommend Bedouin Family Camp and Atayek as a guide.

It's not my first time in this camp. This time I've found it even better with 2 different blocks of toilets for men and women and showers with hot water! But the reason why I always choose the family camp is Atayek as he is the most trustworthy, caring and professional Bedouin host I've ever met in all my trips to Jordan. If you travel to this beautiful Country in order to experience the Bedouin culture, it's here that you can find it: Atayek embodies all the marvellous values of his culture and he has a long experience in tourists management: he always manages to make people  feel like guests instead of tourists. Atayek is 100% reliable and his qualities will make your holiday safe and exciting!

I am SO glad that I chose Bedouin Family Camp for my tour of stunning Wadi Rum desert. Atayek was so welcoming, friendly and made the whole group feel at ease at once. We were shown to our beautiful, traditional campsite nestled into the side of the mountains, and then taken for a tour of the best sights of the area in a jeep with an open back and seats - such an experience! We only stayed the one night which I now regret, as the sunset and the night sky were breathtaking. The food and hospitality we received from everyone was second to none and I'm looking forward to coming back for a longer stay in the future - thank you!! :)

I had a wonderful time in Wadi Rum. The camp is in a beautiful spot, very clean and comfortable. Atayek took very good care of me. I loved the Jeep tour to the white wild desert with him - stunning scenery, very untouched and definitely different to the places where the tours usually take you. Atayek cooked amazing lunch and was so kind and entertaining. Altogether my stay at the camp couldn't have been better - I learnt so much and felt so comfortable and relaxed. I can thoroughly recommend it!

Myself and my husband had a truly magical stay with Atayek and his family for one week - their hospitality and experience is second to none! We were humbled by the amazing landscape of course, but it was made all the more special by having the perfect hosts and seeing the 'real' Wadi Rum. We had a great stay at the camp. The staff was so friendly, and it was such a refreshing and just amazing experience. Abdullah was really sweet, he treated us in a kind Beduine manner. Dinner was delicious, breakfast pretty basic. We also took a desert tour - and it was really great. I'd highly recommend the Family camp to any visitors to Jordan!
