Experience a truly genuine Bedouin camp set amidst the unique mountains of Little Petra. The warm hospitality of the owners and staff, delicious cuisine, and spotless accommodations make for a comfortable stay. Guests can choose between traditional, small tents with shared bathrooms or opt for the luxury camp offering various room types, sizes, and styles. This location is ideal for those wanting to hike into Petra via the back trail or seeking a peaceful escape from the busy tourist streets of Wadi Musa. As a special touch, enjoy evenings by the bonfire listening to a local musician play the Oud and sing Bedouin songs while sipping tea. Highly recommended.

Our extended family of six stayed in three ‘rooms’ for two nights at Seven  Wonders Luxury Camp in Little Petra in early December  2024 and had a fabulous stay. On arrival we were immediately upgraded to the Dome tents as unfortunately for a lot of tourist operators in Jordan, at this time visitors were scarce, and so we were treated to our own ‘ private resort’ experience. Even if we hadn't been upgraded I would highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting Petra and surrounds. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. We had all breakfasts and dinners on site and the food was amazing. Their suggestions as to how best to get the most from our very brief stay in Petra meant that we were able to enjoy both an afternoon walk to the Treasury on arrival, and then a full day exploring the Siq Canyon via the back door hiking route to the Monastery the following day-excellent local advice  given the terrain and the little time we had at our disposal.   I usually don’t write reviews but feel compelled to write this one. Seven Wonders was truly a fantastic experience.

We inadvertently came upon this camp because a friend was staying there. We dropped the friend off and he invited us to tour the grounds and his room. We were blown away. The friend was staying in a domed room and it was amazing.  We then toured the grounds and this too offered a unique Bedouin experience.  We immediately decided to cancel our existing accommodation and booked two nights at the 7 wonders camp. We met the owner and before we had even checked in he offered us the buffet dinner for two for free. We stayed two nights and enjoyed great breakfasts and dinners included in the price of our room. The domed room itself, offered us a spectacular night view of the stars and majestic rock surroundings, lit up in the evening to add additional ambience to our stay.  A terrific way to enjoy what Petra had to offer.

It was a wonderful experience. The camp is located in the Little Petra. We were a party of 6 people and we had booked a luxury tents that exceeded our expectations. The staff was absolutely friendly, breakfast and dinner was delicious. The surroundings of the tent was stunning.

We were not first timers! We always come back to this excellent camp - we almost call it our home in Petra 🥰.

We stayed 2 nights at the camp. You park right in front. Well located. 3 minutes drive from Little Petra and 15 minutes from Petra (free parking everywhere in Petra)
The staff was also all very friendly and helpful. The owner/manager is also a delight to talk to. 
We had one breakfast (5JD) and one diner (10JD) at the camp. The amount of food they give you for that price is just insane. We had like 11 cours meal for diner … 
The following day, we had to wake up early so they even made us a lunchbox ❤️ 
If you like animals, they have 2 dogs and few cat. There’s even one cat that followed us in our room and didn’t want to leave 😂 
The room was clean, full bathroom, hot water, AC, bath robes, slippers … they have everything you need.

We stayed at the Luxury camp with two adjoining rooms for a family of 4. Rooms fairly small, but very clean and good hot water, electrics etc. the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, they were fantastic with every request, including guidance on how to visit Petra, how to walk in the back way etc. Food was excellent, also fun round the campfire with music and tea in the evening. No alcohol available, but there is no objection to you bringing your own (we had wine around the fire after dinner, others had beer etc). Highly recommended.

Seven wonders luxury camp is an amazing experience. The staff are amazing and they even gave us a secret honeymoon cake!!

The worker Atif was very helpful he took us to the back entrance of petra park for free and always checked to make sure we was okay. There is also a helpful syrian man who has always been polite and helpful. 

The dome is definately worth getting as the tents can be underwhelming.

It costs 7JD to get to petra visitors centre if you are planning on visiting petra through the usual route. However, back entrance to petra is better as there is more downhill than uphill walking. 

Definately recommend for those who are looking to visit petra through back entrance.

Seven wonders always give complimentary bottles of water too and the food is great

Stayed here one night while on the Abraham Tours 2 Day Petra trip. I had selected the Superior Cabin with en suite bathroom. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. It had heat and AC, and was very nicely furnished.
The Dinner Buffet was very good, as was the Breakfast Buffet. Both offered a variety of options. 
After dinner, guests sat around a huge fire pit and enjoyed a local hot sweet tea and conversation. The surrounding cliffs were dramatically lit, and the night sky full of stars. There was supposed to be a program of traditional music, etc, but that started much later than what I wanted to stay up.
Cell phone signal was good, but wifi was spotty.
A very enjoyable stay.

Great stay at 7 wonders bedouin camp, with very friendly and helpful staff. The camp is beautiful, clean, well located (only 3 min away from Little Petra entrance). Food at restaurant is great. We stayed in a family tent which was quite small. Perfect for 2 days of visiting Petra.

Great camp !

Beautiful camp in the desert

Located just across the road from little Petra, the Seven Wonders Bedouin camp is the ideal location for travellers with a hire car, who want to stay conveniently close to Petra, but outside of the general hum drum and tourist centric locale of Wadi Musa. Set in the breathtaking surroundings that characterise little Petra, and gorgeously lit up after sun set, the location does not disappoint. We stayed in a standard tent, which had access to the shared bathroom facilities, and was a short walk from the 'luxury camp', where a generous breakfast (included), and dinner buffet could be accessed. Not the best food of our trip, but good standard faire all the same, and great baklava and pastries, which can be limitlessly consumed. The tents were great fun, and were far more comfortable than we expected, with large fan, electric sockets, and a comfortable spring bed. Bathroom and showers were basic but clean. The camp wasn't particularly busy when we were there, which greatly enhanced our experience. It would have been very different should have been at full capacity. The central camp area was a lovely place to visit in the evening, for tea, a large open fire, shisha, and some enthusiastic traditional music with gusto. I would certainly recommend Seven Wonders as a base camp for long days at Petra, and if you want to fulfil your Bedouin fantasy, rather than stay in a run of a mill hotel. Best camp in wadi musa!

Stayed here when I booked a 2 day tour through Abraham Tours in Jerusalem. I opted to upgrade to the dome and I’m very glad I did. It was a special experience. I thought the food was pretty good, but the dome and the atmosphere were the highlight. The shower worked well and for being in the middle of nowhere I was really pleased with the accommodation and the service.

Glamping at its finest

Loved the look of the place.  It was a fun experience.  They offered live music and a fire pit for all to gather around.  The drawback was the shower door that did not close efficiently.  Room was clean, and comfortable. 
The restaurant was buffet-style, and vegetarian options were provided.  Little puppy greeted us each time we came and went, so a touch of home was a joy.
Sadly my hopes of looking at the night sky on our deck and seeing endless stars were
not possible as the mountains were lit up like downtown Las Vegas.
