8 reviewsMy wife and two kids (aged 3.5 years and 9 months) spent the weekend at The Lakehouse at Toyako. Coming from Sapporo, it is convenient and beautiful 2 hour drive. The Lakehouse is lovely, spacious and airy. The rooms are beautifully built out of cedar wood, giving it that outdoor, woodsy feeling. You can rent out a room or the whole house. Full kitchen facilities are available at an extra cost. We stayed in the Sakura room- loads of space (high ceilings, big windows, big bathroom with large bath and shower) - highly recommended. The Lake House is situated right next to the lake (with easy access to the water) and has the amenities you need- stand up paddle boards, canoes, bikes, 4X4, Etc Just as important as the actual facility itself are the owners- Jonny and Ayuko.They are friendly, fun, personable and accommodating, Thank you for a great stay that none of us will forget.
