This is such a special hotel. The view is amazing, the location is perfect, the room was very nice and comfortable but what really took our stay to the next level was the staff and the service we received. It was absolutely spectacular. Every single staff member we came across was wonderfully kind and eager to help us in any way. The concierge staff even went out of their way to help us get booked for a sumo experience we found online that was sold out. When we were checking in, there were performers in the lobby demonstrating traditional origami and playing Japanese music. The check-in staff noticed it was my birthday in a few days and secretly coordinated for the man who was making origami to make me a birthday cake. When he handed it to me, they also gave me a lovely card and gourmet candies. It was such a thoughtful gesture, I was truly blown away. We stay in four and five star hotels a lot for work but the service here was the next level. The people who work at this hotel are really, really special. They also meticulously maintain the lobby and it has the atmosphere of a relaxing and elegant spa. We will definitely stay here again. Highly, highly recommend this place.
