We stayed here as Americans on a first-time visit to Japan. This is probably one fo the best value-for-money hotels I've ever booked. Hotel facilities are limited (no gym, no minibar, probably no laundry), but everything they do have is done extremely well. Service in English was warm and efficient. The rooftop bar is gorgeous. Our family of four stayed in a Scenic and a Classy room; the former had amazing views, including from the deep soaking bathtub, and the latter was quite large for a mid-range hotel room in an urban center. Soundproofing was impeccable, beds were insanely comfortable, and we all slept better than we do at home despite jet lag. Location is perfect; Asakusa is a touristy neighborhood with all the good and the bad that comes with that, but the side streets are low-key and residential. I would easily stay here again on future visits to Tokyo.
