The hotel is fantastic, it's in great condition considering it's age. The staff are more attentive than at most of the 5 star hotels I've stayed at and the food options on site are exceptional. Especially the small bar. The rooms are a little dated but it's more like being in a movie set during the showa period than run down everything has been kept up well.While it's in essentially the inner core of Tokyo its in a quiet location,you don't have endless bar and restaurant choices in the neighbourhood but you can get to places like kanda station in a 10 minute walk and it's only a 5 minute walk to the chuo line which is incredibly useful. I think the Hilltop is actually quite special.
