Tenryukaku

I chose that ryokan because it was just next door from the historical landmarks such as Zuihoden. I was given a huge clean and appointed room just for myself and the lady at reception managed to understand part my Japanese and part my English. She and the rest of the staff was very welcoming and polite. My room came with a bathroom and toilets which is is not so common in ryokans but i sampled also the ryoakn shared bath which was pristine and great temperature to relax after a day out sightseeing. Both the donner and breakfast (Japanese traditionnal food) were served in my room and were sumptious. I will definitely return on my next trip to Sendai !
