This was the only hotel we could get in town as it was golden week. It's a mile from the town centre so only just walkable for the elderly. However the staff were fantastic. We were picked up at the station and also after a day sightseeing. The staff had limited English but were unfailingly charming and helpful. The hotel onsen was great if unspectacular. And the evening meal was out of this world - almost literally. A set menu of classic japanese food and cooking at the table - even if it was a struggle to know what we were eating at times! Cannot speak highly enough of the care we received.
