The building has a lot of character with panoramic views over the fields and mountains from the dining area. We also had a waterfall in front of our bedroom which was very relaxing The hosts were very flexible in adding us in for dinner as it’s a little too far from the centre to walk to restaurants etc - and the food was excellent !We would recommend staying here without hesitation - they organised taxis, dinner, breakfast and have us a book of discount vouchers for the attractions. Only niggle for us was how cold the room was but they provided a very efficient little heater that worked well, but as we have a toddler it was always a worry she would get too close to it - but this seems relatively standard for Japan throughout our travels (no heating) so cant really blame the hotel.
