We had an excellent 2 nights stay at Alphabed Inn Takamatsu. The whole place is very clean and the room is spacious and very comfortable. The surroundings is very near to train station and supermarket. The common area however is very cold so the tempreature can be adjusted slightly higher.

Contactless, close to main station, big room. But no elevator .

Very satisfied with this place. Clean with every thing needed for a comfortable stay.

Great location, big room with a cozy feeling. Very quiet and a few minute walk from the most popular shopping arcade. No elevator so if you get third floor it’s a bit of a walk up but the place is great.

Close to JR Station. Nice host, responsive. Clean and big room. Reasonable price. Self check in with clear instruction sent to inbox ahead. Walking distance to the city center. Overall very good experience.

Online auto checkin and check out, very technical operation. Room is clean and fashionable.

The hotel was quite neat and tidy.Before I arrive, manager gave me a detail replies about my questions very kindly.The hotel was located very close to the Takamatsu station, so it was very convenient.If I have a change again trip to Takamatsu, Of course i will stay here.

The funny thing is I received email telling me how to check out prior to my arrival. Don't you think telling me how to enter the entrance and how to check in before my arrival might be equally important?Bad experience for check-in process, we were locked out for 10 minutes and thank god we met someone staying there and she told us the password of the main entrance.Otherwise you got to call local number for getting password to enter, but how on earth would foreign travellers want to make overseas phone call for this kind of thing? Why couldn't you simply send password in advance by either message or email or whatever??Other than the weird check-in proces, everything in the hotel is pretty good.

Hope they could send password in advance.

Pros:- 10 minute walk from JR station and seaport.- Room is spacious compared to average japanese hotel rooms. The luggage could just lie down on the floor.- There is common kitchen and free laundry.Cons:- NO STAIRS - so if you stayed on the 4th floor like me, be prepared to pull your luggage up and down.- NO clothing dryer.P.s. After finishing laundry, the machine cover was locked and we just couldnt open it by any means. However, there is some japanese wordings on both sides of machine telling you what to do if the cover is locked. Thanks goddness for google translate and we made it without cracking the lock nor calling the emergency numbers. It is better to post a notice of teaching guests how to open the lock in case of accidental lock-up.

Feels like home

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATIONThe best thing about this property is it’s location, close to the port, station, food and minutes walk from a couple of good supermarkets. We (family of 4) enjoyed our stay at Alphabed Takamatsu Ekimae and would stay there again when next in that part of Japan. First thing to establish is that there is no front desk, check in is done remotely. This was very smooth of us and much better than expected ** read the welcome emails before you arrive and complete registration online to get a similar experience (we registered from the train on the way there)**. The rooms are small, clean and comfortable, but if you’re going to be out island hopping during the day, as we were, room size shouldn’t be an issue. The kitchen down stairs is functional, we used it to cook pasta for the kids (tastes from home) and make sandwiches for our days out and about. All in all a great experience.

Great location and very comfortable accommodation. We incurred problems upon checkin as we were not emailed the required information which was inconvenient at the time.
