This is very nice and decent hotel. You get good value for your money. Highly recommend!

Good location by the train station, room had good amenities, staff were helpful

The place had thin walls so you could hear the people in the hallway and they can hear the things coming from your room. The walls to the outside and also thin so you can hear the street and the crows around the hotel.

A little bit old, but cozy and quiet. Close to the subway station.

We got the room without windows which was not very nice. The room looks somewhat old and there is barely sunlight coming in so it smells a little bit humid in the room.

Very nice hotel night

Good stay

Also called Hotel Johzenji.  Free tea and coffee.  A reasonable budget hotel a short walk from an underground station, but much marred by the fact that it is on a very busy (but pleasant) road with activity throughout the night, and the windows are only single glazed, so very noisy at night - traffic noise and people walking can be clearly heard in the room (even at 3 am and we were on the 8th floor). Not a place to stay if you want a good night's sleep.

No soundproofing from road noise

This place looks like it used to be an old love hotel or something. There is no real security (but it's Japan so it should be fine), the doors and locks to your room are paper thin and old and the bathroom is tiny.It's in a good location but I wouldn't pay more than 6000 yen a night for this.

An old love hotel?

We chose a non smoking room but the whole hotel smelled like smoke when we arrived. After we opened the windows or aired out a little bit when I woke up in the middle of the night the whole room smelled worse than before of cigarettes.
