Tmark City Hotel Sapporo

TMark in Sapporo was an absolutely great bang-for-your-buck lodging in Sapporo as a solo traveller. I stayed in the single bed accomodation. The room was pristine clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel itself is modern and in excellent shape. The staff were very kind and helpful to this first-time Japan traveller. Moreover, this hotel is situated right in the center of Sapporo for easy reach of the city's many amenities and activities. Clean, comfortable, modern, and facilities in excellent shape/repair. Truly representative of a great 3-star lodging for those who don't need the frills but want something more private and comfortable than a shared hostel. If you are coming from the US and have never stayed in Japan, I do caution you that the size of the room and its bathroom will feel snug. If you don't like that, then do look into the larger rooms. There are ample paid parking lots within 5-minute walk. All in all, this is a top choice of 3-star accomodation for any solo traveller or group who do not mind splitting up.
