Pros: Location is indeed just 1-minute from the tram station. Takes only around 35 - 40 minutes to Kyoto station; the superb air quality and bath is worth doing Extremely authentic Japanese Ryokan experience for foreign tourist-- the tatami bed is very comfy indeed! The breakfast is very delicious and make you very full The river view is just fascinating Con: The noise from the road. It'd be better if you can use your own earbud to lower the noise during sleep. If you look for absolute serenity, don't pick this one.
