We enjoyed our stay in the place that is run by an old couple. Room was clean and we opt for a toilet as well. The heater in the room was really good for winter season. Bathroom was shared with a small onsen however it felt a little insecure as once you open the door, you can see straight in the bathing area. The winter yukata provided was really cute as well. You can wear it out if you were to use the public bath outside. Breakfast was really nice and very Japanese style and you can help yourselves with the rice if you want as the leave the whole rice cooker there! They tried to change every morning to have some varieties. It is very limited to those who have dietary restrictions. They don't speak English at all which can be difficult but it is great for those who wants to brush up their Japanese! For the location, it is very convenient and waking distance to all there main places. We walked up to the ski area every morning. It is also about 10mins walk to the bus station without going through any slope. Price was a bit steep during Feb but it is really nice if you would like to enjoy a Japanese style inn. The obasan was really sweet as she gave us a pack of snacks as we were about to leave the premise so that we can enjoy it in the bus. :)
