夫婦2人で8月に訪問させていただきました。まず、食事が素晴らしかったです。地元阿蘇の食材にこだわり、かなりの種類の野菜やハーブが自家栽培です。また、燻製も自家製。オーナーは福岡のレストランで修行されていた方らしく、技術は確かです。こんない山奥で阿蘇を感じる素敵なディナーをいただけると思いませんでした。さらに、近くに天文台があり、夏のシーズンは星空観察も楽しめます。天気が良ければ天の川も見られます。このプログラムは予約をされることをお勧めします。震災で訪れる方は減ったそうですが、ぜひ頑張って欲しい宿です。 My hasband and I visited there in August 2017. The dinner and breakfirst were great. They use vesetables from Aso as much as possible, and grow up some kinds of vegetables or herbs by themselves. In addition, they make some smokes by themselves! The shef has a good technique, who was traind at the restaurant in Fukuoka. I have never imagined that I could enjoy such tasty meals in a mountain area. There is an observatory near the hotel, and you can enjoy night sky watching in summer season. If it is not cloudy, you can see the milky way. I reccomend to book if you would like to take part in this program. It seems that the number of visitors decreased, however, I hope more travelers stay in this hotel.
