This is a wonderful hotel for your stay in Kyoto. Conveniently located, polite and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, clean rooms and nice ambiance. My only helpful hint is to be careful when sending luggage via takkyubin. I have always had luggage delivered in one day as most hotels use Yamato. But I didn’t realize this hotel sent my luggage by POST. So instead of one day it was TWO days. That’s my fault as it was on the ticket. But I had no idea there was a two day delivery option. So make sure you specify. Sigh. Otherwise everything was perfect.
