excellent stay, facilities and great food as expected from our Japanese hosts.  Sea activities limited and missing sailing and snorkelling.  Need to have more music activities like playing instruments. no piano was available for guests to play. problem getting transport back from Kabira bay - totally no taxis!!!
TV programs pathetic. No streaming services no chromecast or Airplay at all!!! Bicycles falling apart lol.

Our very first clubmed experience, and we loved it.  Our kids went to mini-club and petit-club, and we had the time to stroll around the premises, swim at the beach, catch up on sleep and just relax.  The food was excellent, with good variety and healthy options.  Our kids were never lacking.  We enjoyed nature and also meeting Yui the resident hawk.  Well worth the price and the trip to Ishigaki.  Big thank you to Natalia our G.O. and all the staff at Kabira.

Clubmed Kabira is fantastic! The beach is beautiful and the ocean is crystal clear . The Clubmed team were really wonderful - especially Johan, Kiho, Candra, Chef Selim and Hamida. Weather was cool and nice during our stay with just a touch of rain at the start and end of our stay. 
This is the second Clubmed that we’ve enjoyed thoroughly and will return one day!

This was our second time at Club Med Kabira, and it was just as amazing as the first trip! The village is beautiful, with lots of great amenities. The new Chief of the Village More is incredible! She is so friendly, kind and observant. She genuinely seems so invested in the guests and makes personal connections with everyone. 

Club med is like an adult summer camp, so it’s always a good time… but the staff is what makes it amazing! The moment you arrive you are greeted with a smile! The reception team is fantastic, we had the pleasure of being escorted to our room by Austin, and got a chance to have a meal with Milk and Natalia… it was such a pleasure getting to know them!  

The bar team (shout out to Wind, Korey, Shuto, Haruka, Axel, and Kiho) will happily make you any drink you can imagine, and even offer some fun suggestions if you are stuck! There is often a fun cocktail of the day too! 

The food is incredible, so many options there is something for everyone! The head chef Selim has a fantastic team of chefs that not only make incredible food, but are so friendly and accommodating! 

The dining room lead by Benz is top notch! He made a point to stop by each day to check in, always with a huge smile on his face! His team is dialed in! Hugo, always knew what we wanted to drink, and had it ready when we sat down. Salisa, Boy, Rafiq, Johan, Haruka, Dian Dian and countless others were so quick at bussing and resetting the tables, always with a smile on their face and a hello, or how was your day. Salisa even had some fun local recommends when we were thinking of heading into town. The staff even set us an extra special table on our last dinner. We will definitely miss their hospitality! 

We definitely recommend the water sports! The trick is to be in line for sports sign ups early, spots fill up fast! But we got a chance to try our hand at wind surfing (waaaay harder than it looks, but super fun!) Yuki did a great job explaining and helping everyone. 

We also did some snorkeling and stand up paddle boarding! The water was beautiful, and there were tons of tropical fish and coral to see. 

If you are more into land sports, the archery led by Whale or Gary is super fun!! (We got the chance to eat lunch with Gary a couple of time, he’s so much fun to chat with!) I also took a workout class with Whale! She kept us moving and laughing the whole time!! 

We also suggest the evening entertainment! The circus team is so talented! And the shows always kept us entertained! 

Honestly, you can’t go wrong with a trip to Kabira! ☺️

We did a great holiday with nice weather ,sunshine and  super good food ,especially thank to Johan and Benz for taking care of us during our stay and yes we would love to be back, i love the show and ambiance in the bar every night because everyone enjoy and have fun together.

Hats off to all the GOs at Club Med Kabira in Ishigaki, Okinawa for making our stay at the resort an amazing experience with memories and new friendships that will surely last a lifetime.

It was our third visit in three years and it has truly become a New Year family tradition.  Our children (16, 15, & 11) absolutely love their holidays there and we will definitely be back next December!

Un grand merci à Ragab, le chef du village who is incredibly dynamic and a fantastic resort manager.  Also, special thanks to Kira & Natsumi @ excursions; Ruri in charge of snacks at the bar (we absolutely love you!!); Jorge, the food & beverage manager, Anna for her amazing work with the shows; Liam, Yeni, & Enes in the dining hall; Charles, Mohey and all the great culinary staff; Naoki, Natsumi, Amadou, & Oumar @ water sports; Umut & Runa @ the bar.  And, so many others including Gareth, Gavin, Miki,  Daheen, and wonderful Celene who is so much fun!

Over the past three years everything has improved and is top notch.  From wonderful international cuisine, amazing croissants & pains au chocolat, and a good selection of cheeses to a very well maintained resort, it is a wonderful place to spend a family vacation.

This is the spot you want to go to if you have a family with kids. The room (Suite) could use a renovation - and we were missing an Ofuro - but other than that it was absolutely perfect.

We are big fans of Club Med. We decided to stay in Kabira - Ishigaki before our main Japan tour, to lay off the jet lag. However, it turned out so much better than we could ever imagine. Club Med was amazing, food was amazing, the beach and fishies were amazing, swimming with manta rays was amazing. Also, a great location for windsurfing - fast wind and no waves in the bay. 

Club Med is also an incredible place to reunite with old friends, even that far from home. Our old friend Reghab, whom we met many many years ago in Club Med Palmiye, Turkey, is now the chef of Ishigaki. We're wishing him the best of luck in his work! 

We spent for the second time 10 days of our Christmas vacation at the Club. We met again friendly GO‘s, this time especially the kitchen team was in a great mood and form, providing a variety of delicious and healthy dishes, topped with assorted sweats for dessert. All brought to a peak on a memorable Christmas evening dinner!

Very good windsurfing conditions made us feeling especially greatful towards the water sports team. Natsumi, Aki and Omar were always available with valuable support and advice. Very good Ezzy Sails are available, just some boards are beyond their actual lifetime and I hope for a new fleet when we return latest for Christmas 2024.
Rooms and facilities are not the freshest, but appear after the Covid dip, well maintained and support feeling comfortable at the resort.

Best Family Vacation Ever!

Very happy Christmas 2023

If you plan a trip to Japan, give yourself a few days in Okinawa.

My friends and I stayed at this hotel for four nights on a graduation trip.  I was fully satisfied with all the activities, especially the shows played every night. The food was great and never bored me with the blending of various styles. 
As for the staff called GO, they were helpful and friendly including the manager Maelle, Alisa, and Angel who I briefly talked. Also, I loved the atmosphere at the bar and was the first time to spend time at the bar though I didn't drink as I was still underage. So definitely will visit again after I turned twenty!!

I appreciate all the staff who served and made my stay fun.

Wonderful experience!!

Mckinzie was amazing. Went out of her way to help us with everything from talk to the excursions team about what ever we needed on our behalf to simply just hanging out every night and being a normal person. She also would hang out with us through out the day, during shows and the night life. Absolutely loved her! Vishark would come hang out at night and drink and chill. Super interactive with guest. Cynthia was so sweet and would come and hang out so nice. Talita was such a great bartender. We would just say can you make us something sweet or sour and she would make something that we absolutely loved! Shaam was so interactive and would come sit and chat it up. So nice! Satish was a bartender as well and we had so much fun with him! Great bartender! Guilliame did such a great job as a DJ! Amazing music. And great at conversations. He would just come and talk about where he’s been and had great stories. Eva was with excursions and we would have a question she wouldn’t answer and would come find us to give us the answer. She was GREAT! Gareth was the stand in GM such a great guy. It felt like we were with old time friends the entire time. This isn’t everyone that helped our vacation be amazing but everyone on staff was AMAZING!! Honestly the entire bar team was stunning and we’re super quick with what ever we needed! We met so many staff and everyone was OUTSTANDING with service and made sure we were great. Rooms were clean and perfect. I have absolutely no complaint about this place. I only want to go to club med for vacations after this experience with the staff, food and adventures to do ! Thank you so much to the Kabira staff!
