Blood stain on sheets, chair broken, smokers on non-smoking floor, mattress & pillows hard as bricks, room adjacent to main road so noisy, no dining, breakfast is a cold bento box.Good shower and staff.

Front desk staff seems like they are there just to collect money.  Not friendly and insightful at all.  For no explanation about the facilities etc at check in.  When entering the lobby they just sit on a chair behind the desk without any acknowledgement. There is an a company office  in the same building as the the hotel and they might own the hotel .  Seems like this is just a hobby or side business.  The location is about 10 min walk from Isahaya station and there is nothing surrounding the hotel.  For the price of little over 7000yen the amenities and service isn’t worth it.

First, be sure to go to the New Station Hotel PREMIER, up the hill behind the station. There is another New Station Hotel. This is a nice, new place, rooms fairly big for Japan, all the usual stuff including wifi available. Breakfast in 10th FL restaurant is now a 700 yen bicultural buffet, not impressive as these things go, but nice view. "VIEW PUBLC BATH" ON TENTH FLOOR TOO open very limited hours, in the evening. Walked back past station and over near river to find tiny restaurants for supper.
 

Fine hotel in bedroom community

We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a bigger suite on arrival, but the bathroom had a bad sewer odour coming from the bath drain. OK as long as we kept the door closed. The breakfast was by far the best part of our stay. Huge selection and all of it tasty and fresh. The breakfast room is up on the top floor of the hotel so we were treated to a nice view while we ate.

We stayed in Isahaya as we could not get accommodation in Nagasaki in our budget (we are on a 12 month RTW trip), the hotel is a 5 minute walk from Isahaya station and Nagasaki is a 30 minute train trip away (460 yen one way).  The staff were very friendly and there is a welcome drink.  We did not use the restaurant that is only open for breakfast (500¥).   The rooms are quite spacious with good wifi, desk, hair dryer, foot massager!, kettle, and cups and glasses (also a TV but only with Japanese channels).  Our room was cleaned daily with clean towels and the bathroom has shampoo, conditioner and body soap, also free toothbrushes and slippers to use.  The staff were very friendly but do not speak very much English.  There is a Lawsons a 2 minute walk away and also a restaurant up the hill a few minutes walk away called Gyuemon which served good food at an affordable price.  There is not lot to do in Isahaya but a good train service to Nagasaki.

Be careful as there is also a New Station Hotel that come up on google maps, this is a different hotel.  Make sure you have the premier one.

Good option if accommodation in Nagasaki full

I stayed here for 5  nights  from 1/7/14 to 6/7/14 and was very pleasantly surprised. I had a single room which was very clean with no hint of cigarette smoke. The bed was firm and comfortable, just as I like it. Jinbe(Japanese pyjamas) were provided too! The room was spacious enough and bath/shower ample for my 173cm(5ft 8.5in) 80kg frame. Free WiFi service in the room was excellent unlike some hotels were it only works in the lobby despite the advertising. Breakfast on the 10th floor was excellent. I do like to start my day with cereal. I asked the woman in charge if there was any and she apologised for not having any. The next morning cereal was provided. A very nice personal touch for which I thanked her for providing. Apart from my party, there were no other westerners at the hotel during my stay so there is probably not a huge demand for breakfast cereal so it is understandable. There's a free laundry on-site but it helps if you know how to read kanji as no instruction are in English. It is only 2 minutes stroll to Isahaya Commercial High School which I was visiting that week and 5 minutes to Isahaya station. Isahaya park is worth the walk too. 20min by local express to Nagasaki. Good eating and drinking at a nearby traditional pub too! If you need to hire a car anyone staying at the hotel can get a discount car hire rate too! Also took advantage of booking 4 nights and got the 5th night free. All in all, a very pleasant stay. If travelling to Isahaya again it's where I'll be staying.

Excellent business hotel at a  great price

Inexpensive hotel in Isahaya. Separate sink, toilet, and shower areas give you a lot more room than most Japanese hotels. Mattress was on the floor, and extremely hard, like most Asian hotels. I'm 6'1" tall, and had to sleep diagonally to fit on the bed. Speedy free wifi. Located close to the Isahaya train station, which has lots of options for eating out. Very nice city park located just a few blocks up the hill. 

Breakfast is on the top floor, and offers a great view of the ocean and surrounding city.
