Onyado Fugetsu Muhen

You will need to take a cable car ride from the parking lot to reach the reception which was quite fun with the steep rise and the slowly revealing view of the ocean. The rooms with the private onsen are near the top of the sloping compound. The resort has a automatic golf car system to take the guests to those rooms. The ground floor room with private onsen faces the pacific ocean and since the hotel is right on top on a hill, you have a panoramic view of trees and ocean. The room is a mix of Japanese and Western style with a good size bathroom. The shower is indoor and lead straight to the onsen bath on the balcony. The room is clean in general, but since it is surrounded by trees, expect a few bugs especially on the balcony. Meals are served in the restaurant rather than in room. The food is good with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The staffs are helpful and explain the dishes well.
