Hakuba Hatago Maruhachi

I stayed for only one night with my husband. It was a quick getaway at the end of last year, and it was a very pleasant to see a newly renovated space within the facilities of an antique Japanese house. We had a mini-kitchen but didn't use it since it was a short stay. I would definitely appreciate it for our upcoming ski trip next winter. The all-you-can-drink wine in the shared-lounge was a privilege that we were really happy with. Since the place is a bit detached from the busiest areas in Hakuba, there were only a few restaurant choices available in the area, however they were all within walking distance. The newly renovated Shouya Maruhachi restaurant next to the property seems to attract many foreigner guests, so it was pleasing for us as Japanese to enjoy while surrounded by people from many places in the world. Food was very delicious! I will come back again. This time in winter!主人と2人で1泊させて頂きました。去年の年末に出来たとのことで、設備等々新しくとても気持ちの良い空間でした。今回は1泊だったので利用しませんでしたがミニキッチンもついていたので、次回冬にスキーに来たときには連泊して利用したいと思います。共有スペースのワインラウンジではワインが飲み放題だったのが、よく飲む我々には嬉しい特典でした。またこの時期開いているレストランがあまりなく、チョイスが少なく困ったのですが、歩いてすぐの場所に系列のレストランがあったので助かりました。いかにも外国の方が好きそうな和の空間で、日本人の私達も楽しく過ごせました。美味しかったし！また遊びにきます。今度は冬に！
