Hotel Mercato Wajima

It was not easy to book a full facility hotel around Wajima areas. Most were hostel without private toilet. But Mercato is a full facility hotel. Room rate is reasonable and room size is considered as bigger than normal in Japan with same price range. Yes, the furniture was a bit aging. The staff provided very good services.

Full facility hotel

Free parking. Free wifi. The room and the bathroom was spacious but not very hygienic. The carpet and the sofa were dirty and stained. The room was quiet though. The bed and pillow were comfy. Able to have a good night's sleep. There was a step when entering the bathroom. Be mindful of that. I felt down and hit the wardrobe badly while leaving the bathroom. Poor design.
The hotel provided free toast, coffee and juice from 7am to 9am. A budget hotel for an overnight stay. 

Just served the purpose for a night's sleep 

This hotel is old and the room need to refurbish. I trust long ago the hotel would look grand but now everything seems old and dark. The room has a musky smell which probably have not rented out for along time. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I do not think I would stay at this hotel again if I visit Wajima.
