This Jamaican boutique hotel was a pleasant surprise, perched on the cliffs at Ross Craig,  near Boston Beach. We got an upgrade on arrival from the lovely Monique, but had to change rooms through no fault of the hotel and the Manager Brett was most accommodating.  We stayed in the comfortable Sea Dream room with a beautiful view of the ocean and a tub bath in the bedroom, together with an outside private shower which was hot and delightful. 
There is also a good sized pool although the swim up bar is sadly not in use. 
The food is outstanding (the restaurant closes at 8pm so order early) and the staff are super friendly and helpful. 
The resort could do with a little bit of TLC but has everything you need.  We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed their hospitality.

The rooms were rustic and the views were amazing. The dinner service was lacking. The staff acted as if our presence was an inconvenience.

The views and sounds of the ocean were beyond spectacular! Our room was very spacious and was elegant yet rustic. The bed was very comfortable.  My only complaint is that we never had very hot water...it was more lukewarm. It wasnt a big issue as the outside temperature was so hot. The air conditioning was very comfortable and Terrence the manager was kind, friendly and very helpful. He arranged a ride for us to get back to Montego Bay. We very much enjoyed our dinners while overlooking the beautiful sea.

I live in the area (part-time for now) and needed to stay there with my assistant to be able  to access stable internet for an important  3 hour meeting the next day.   Brett and his staff were SO accommodating. I can't thank them enough. It was one of those divine moments...when everything comes together for the right reason. My part-time assistant had had a bad day (with someone else she works for) and she really appreciated a great room where she was made to feel special because of the great room they gave us.  And breakfast and the service there from Monique and Terence was also amazing. Thank YOU!  You are doing a great work in an understated but important part of the world. THANK GOD FOR YOU!    We pray you will continue to prosper and to bless people because you blessed us..   Anne B.

One of a kind experience

The honeymoon stay was a disaster. Hotel is not as advertised online. Only thing great about it was the sea view. The road leading to the hotel was a disgrace. Hotel and fixtures run down and dated.

 I've seen a lot of positive reviews and decided to check it out myself, and I can honestly say they're all TRUE. The staff was so warm and courteous, and the FOOD...My God, the food was delectable (I recommend the shrimp pasta & the fried fish). The hotel boasts a beautiful salt water pool, and the cliffside view is breathtaking. It was truly a wonderful experience.

Management read my negative review and tried to convince me to take
It down if they forgave a meal.  When I refused, I got an incomplete cleaning of my room,  ad upon check out I actually had to prove to them that I did not drink a 12 ounce sparkling water in the mini bar. I told them about chips and a candy bar and soda.  We actually debated whether I drank another sparking water. UNBELIEVABLE.  DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE IF YOU CARE ABOUT DETAILS such as cleanliness, hot water, staff who speak understandable in English and who care a bout the quality of your stay.  The other places I stayed in Tanzania were EXCELLENT. Gran Melia and Stonetown and the rented lodges were EXCELLENT.  Sea Cliff Hotel is an eyesore with misleading reviews.  Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else but this place.

This resort is like a rare gem. If you want to be in touch with nature, this is place to be. The hotel was clean, staff were extremely professional and attentive to our needs. T.J served us a couple of time in the dining room and was wonderful. Monique was very professional and communicated very well to us. Nothing we requested for was a big deal. You must get a massage from the lovely and professional Antoinette, it’s definitely worth it. We stayed in the hotel for 3 days and had a wonderful time. Thank you to the staff at Sea Cliff resort and see you again soon.
