I went there for 3 nights with my boyfriend, we got a room on the 2nd floor facing the beach.
we had dinner the first night at the hotel, on the beach, was a little expensive for what it was but it tasted good.
We had drinks from the bar on the beach as well everyday. Quality of the beach is alright, you can ask for kayak for free.
A little bit far from downtown and have to walk on the small street to get to the entrance (would be scared if alone)
Nice room with comfortable bed, very clean !

Nice weekend

Nice beach here and since we are locals. We had our family over and they had no issues with this. We spent a few days here visiting with family then upgraded to the couples hotel.
The beach is lovely. The rooms are clean.  I recommend the ground floor rooms because it walks right out to the beach. There are no activities.  So for night life we had our cabby take us out and about. 


The lifestyles of the simple

The hotel was really clean.
The room we stayed in was by the beach out your back door and straight into the sandy beach and clear waters.
Breakfast was just basic continental style,no croissants though.
It did cost us a lot in taxi fares to get into town each time.
The breakfast room back door which opens onto the beach side could do with a full length mosquito type net to stop the pesky flies dive bombing your breakfast.
It's a shame the hotel does not operate a shuttle bus into town.
Paying $600 each way to get into town accounted for a chunk of money twice a day over a 3 day period.
These were my only two moans about my stay.

Peaceful

Definitely not one of the better hotels to stay at. It's budget friendly, the rooms were clean with a glass door leading out to a small strip of beach. The road leading down to the hotel felt a little unsafe but its actually a rafting area. There is no formal parking if you have a car. You are outside the city and getting a taxi might not be the easiest thing. I definitely wouldn't recommend if you don't have your own transport. There is also a cash deposit that is required at check in.

Budget hotel away from the city

GOOD- right on the beach.  All rooms face the water and have table and chairs on the outside patio.  Minimum breakfast (toast, juice, coffee).  Price was reasonable ($88).  Away from the downtown area.
ANNOYING- very hard to find.  instructions were not that good.  Did a bunch of driving around until we found it. 
UGLY- had to park out in front in a non-secure area.  I did worry about the car but did not have any problems.  Not in a very good part of town (or at least seems that).  Very seedy getting to the location. 
EXTRA- room had a "salty musty" smell but it is right on the water so I expected this.
WOULD I GO BACK- I stayed here on my way to Port Antonio and stayed here again on the way back to Mo Bay.  At least on the way back I knew where it way
