Point Village

Hi ! Have I ever got a review you need to read .We stayed at the Point Village in January 2019. This was our first time at renting a condo, and our first time staying in this gated community. We are hooked! This was our fourth trip to Negril . This community use to be a all inclusive with privately owned units as well. There are locals who rent and or live here at the point so that’s nice to mingle and visit with them. Nothing better than landing and they welcome you home . Jamaica is our favourite destination so far! I can’t imagine nicer people 🤙🏻🇯🇲.We stayed in unit 191 and had the best host possible. It was a two bed and bath unit with 2balconies and a Juliet balcony too. The unit comes with a housekeeper once a week but I did not need to have her come in as I’m quite capable of cleaning up after myself. This was the best trip we had to date and I say that because whats better then to have coffee on your patio at your leisure, and to not have to hurry to the buffet before it closes. I loved the flexibility of cooking when we wanted to or not. Cooking and cleaning to some-may not be ideal, during your vacation. I was asked if I would go back to a all inclusive...... maybe ....someday ....... but not ready to do that again anytime me soon 🙈 our unit was about 300 feet from the beach. Morning snorkelling was our favourite thing to do before breakfast. The variety of sea life is amazing! The resort sits between two beaches. Bloody bay and the famous 7 mile beach. These condos range from studio units to 3 bedrooms. The point is across from booby cay , so you could kayak across and snorkel there too. There is a swimming pool as well as some rock pools, available for you to swim in if the ocean is not your thing. But while in Jamaica how could you not slip into ocean and float around🏝.
