I found The Liguanea Club a charming place to stop over in Kingston. My room was huge and very clean, the staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was included and was tasty with a choice of lovely juices and good coffee. The young man at reception was extremely helpful and courteous (I think his name was E. Robinson?)
All in all a very satisfactory visit.

And the space was nice we didn't get to get any breakfast because of quarantine and no dinner the room was clean the pool was clean so overall it was very nice. Stay l would recommend that they have a substitute meal for the price . 

Needed Break

My husband and I stayed here for one night and I think we got value for our money. The hotel seems to have some historic value in regards to the decor. There isn't a lift or a bellman so if you have large luggage you have to take it up the stairs yourself. The room was clean and comfortable and all equipment were fully functioning. You are given one ticket per person for breakfast which can cover for the continental breakfast or you can select something from the menu and pay the difference that the ticket doesn't cover. Continental breakfast didnt have alot of options but it was enough to give you a full meal as well as it was delicious. The staff members that we had encountered were all polite, overall it was a good stay.

One Night Stay

Really shocked and disappointed with my one day stay here. Booked to enjoy the pool and the restaurant but they do not serve any food or drinks after the brunch morning service. I'm here alone and reception told me if i go out for food i wouldn't be safe! Walked out very scared and got a terrible kfc around the corner came back to enjoy the pool only to find they had rented it out for a big kids party! Totally ruined my visit here, would never of booked it if i knew they do this on Sundays. Terrible way to treat guests who pay a lot to stay here :(

Don't stay here on a sunday

I loved the food (had the red snapper dish twice it was so good). Most of all I loved the staff! My daughter had dengue fever shortly after arriving and they could not have been more helpful and supportive with endless supplies of water and ice and even contacting a doctor who was a member of the club to ask him to see my daughter which he gladly did and have a prescription for medication. The hotel had a lovely ambience and the fact that it was close to Knutsford Express bus station was a big bonus. Also like to mention how polite and mannerly every staff member was including the guards who were always a pleasure to talk to

The most wonderful staff and great food too!

We only stayed there one night, as I prefer to get out of kingston, but it was very comfortable and the staff was very nice. It was also central to the few things in Kingston I really like to hit while I'm there.

Comfortable for a quick stop.

Dont go there, they are cheat. Horrible breakfast. Ants on floor everywhere. AC doesn't work. They charged me for 6 days inspite of my telling them on first day that I will stay for 4 days. No lift. All the stores far away. 

Worst Place I stayed in my life

I understand the historic and sentimental value, specially as I am James Bond fan but I am grading its current condition which is not good.
The property needs a heavy infusion of money: Everything screams out date, old l, run down.  I return also with insect bites on my legs that O attribute to the linens.  The continental breakfast was very limited.  The internet though worked great and the service was sufficient

Run down 

The style and the story of this place. I did not know that Dr No movie was partially filmed at this club.
The terrace is amazing but dinner could be better however, breakfast is delicious.
A lot of locals come to practice tennis and some other activities which makes this place homey.

 · I think the whole place should be renovated. Everything is really dated specially the rooms.
Room number 1 is the quietest.

Amazing place for a step over in Kensington

Good price.
Good service.
Neat.
Would recommend to anyone.
Have stayed at a few hotels in Jamaica and all were either really bad or borderline bad.
Rather refreshing when i found this hidden lucky packet.
