What a lovely visit! Beautiful,  great service, "quiet" (waterfall is loud butvthats awesome), quirky, and we loved it!The proberty has some ongoing projects so be prepared to go over the gravel pile and past construction,  but beyond all that is magical. The mountain and the driveway are hard going, but that's the case in Jamaica overall, and this is no exception.  Have 4 wheel drive and drive carefully, and it's all cool.

Quiet, secluded location, beautiful surroundings, terrific food, thoughtful staff and clean facilities.  The facility is being built a section at a time and has a homey, handmade feel.  Rooms are named, not numbered, and are themed (the Africa Room, the M.C. Escher Room, etc.)  Rooms are spacious, comfortable and imaginatively decorated.  Facilities include a spacious lounge, generous outdoor seating and a full self-service bar.  The property includes several footpaths, including one to a waterfall.  Highly recommended.  The only challenge is getting there!

A unique experience!

I had a great time at Rafjam.  I booked in June 2023 with Susan the owner, who was always available to answer questions.  We were picked up by William, who also secured parking for our vehicle.   The room was a lovely space with comfortable furnishings, clean bathroom and a huge balcony with chairs and a table,  as well as a hammock that overlooked the water.  We listened to the water each night from our double door balcony.  Thanks to Candy and Ms. M for ensuring we had freshly brewed coffee each morning along with the delicious meals.  The music was rich of vibes and soothing to the soul.  We were safe as we wandered to the waterfall and the many swimming holes on the property. Thanks to the Rafjam team.  Blessings.

Rafjam-Peace within Nature

If you want to experience the 3 R’s, Rest, Relax, Reflect and and more, RAFJAM is the hidden gem with a river running through. Genuine helpful staff. I wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle and get some peace and tranquility and I certainly got it.  I told Susan what I was looking for and she organized the room to meet my needs with the sound of the river flowing. Arranged tours that I enjoyed. Even my driver who took me back was so humble and kind blessings me his knowledge. Thanks again RAFJAM for making my stay an enjoyable experience.

A wonderful natural beauty of nature that would give you time to Rest, Relax and Reflect.

Rafjam is an oasis. The terrain to get there is daunting (but don't worry, they provide shuttle if you, like myself, don't do daunting terrain) however, when my friends and I arrived at the spot, it was so worth it. Indeed the villa's location adds to the mystique, the privacy, the rustic nature. There are multiple rivers on the property, a gorgeous waterfall nearby (we had tremendous fun there). We were enveloped by the sounds of nature, greenery and rivers for our entire weekend. There are also great hiking paths nearby and my friends and I hiked to a river. The trail was so beautiful we couldn't stop making pics. The rooms are another delight, you can stay on the main house or off the main house in a cottage or theme designed villas. Some of the cottages are built around huge slabs of rock which just makes them more rustic and engaging. The proprietor, Sue, goes all out to ensure you have an experience like none other. From ensuring the rooms are tip top, meals are tasty and hot, she partied with my friends and I (it was my birthday weekend) and even acted as a tour guide for our hike to the river. She knew  it was my birthday weekend and she went all out to make it memorable for me, family and friends. She went above and beyond. To know her is to love her. If you love nature, this is a must see nestled in the hills of St. Andrew Jamaica, not too far from the city but far enough to stumble upon another world, a nature's paradise! We loved it!!!! 

A nature lover's haven

The property is down a steep nearly inaccessible road right off the road entering Red Light. You need 4 wheel drive. The two guys who were here were friendly enough but overly low key. I live in JA and know the slowness of things but nothing was ready for us—no towels, no soap, after booking I was told our two bedroom room only had one bed and they could provide an air mattress. Ok but give me a discount or change the room. We waited an hour past the time we wanted dinner and there was only a small assortment of snacks —no fruit nothing. The place seems surprised to have guests. The small spring fed pool with a lovely small waterfalll, the surrounding hills and lovely flora and birds are what make this place special. The restaurant and bar are rustic and charming. It just seems that having guests is a second thought.

Beautiful place to stay. The staff is very friendly adding to that true family feel. Each time we visit something better is added. The ambiance, the food, and the tranquility of the river amplifies the experience. A true home away from home!

Tranquility!!!

We never arrived  because it's off a horrible dirt road with latge pot holes and large rocks our car got stuck the tires kept spinning in the dirt and going no whereYou need a 4x4 vehicle to navigate that horrible unmantained dirt road  Location is on a hill far away of St Andrew city area. Not close to anything that is mentioned on ExpediaWhen we called Raf Jam to inform them that Expedia did not say anything about a dirt road or need for a 4x4 or tall vehicle get to Raf Jam and cancel reservations because out car got stuck. She was rude non shalant to call Expedia not her.When I tried calling Expedia customer Service listed I got recording in Jamaican saying call was a long distance.I would like a refund if possible. Very upsetting and poor experience Reason why I waited a few days before submitting this review. I am also requesting for Expedia Customer service to contact me.

The best place to be guys my wife and I didn't want to leave the staff is so professional wow I would recommend RAFJAM to anyone see you soon guys. How could I leave out Susan  she is such a wonderful person guys as I said would recommend rafjam to anyone go and experience it for your selves.

The best experience ever!

It’s such a beautiful experience with a talented chef.  The landscape is breathtaking and the service is warm and welcoming. The bed is great for your back and the comforter was very cozy. I would recommend anyone to come to RafJam. Disconnect to reconnect <3
