This place was amazing! If youre driving, the road up to Bangor Ridge is twists and turns, make sure you honk before you go around turns as you never know whats around the next bend!! Our guide met us in town and took us on the 1km hike into the jungle to the cabin. Theres no power but there is cell service. The views of the mountains with the clouds and mist rolling over are amazing. Our hosts were very friendly and played a jamaican board game with us, and after we had some great curried chicken with rice and corn. Then we went into town at dusk and hung out with the locals and had a few beers! The locals were friendly and entertaining! We met some of the hosts family and hiked in the pitch black with lights back up the mountain to have what felt like one of the best sleeps ive ever had. If you want to get away into the middle of nowhere snd experience true peace and quiet, i highly recommend this place!!
