Le Terrazze di Cristina

We spent 10 fantastic days at ‘Le Terrazze di Cristina’ from 28th July to 6th August. ‘Le Terrazze di Cristina’ is located in Albori – a small village, a little up the mountains, much less crowded and touristy than the villages closer to the coastline. Even though it’s a small village you have 3 nice restaurants within 5 minutes walk. When we arrived and through our entire stay, we could park our car inside the gate to the B&B. It was nice knowing that we had a place to park our car when we got home in the evening. We had a nice big room with our bed, wardrobe, dresser, tv, etc. with a view towards the mountains and the neighboring agroturismo. Our bathroom was big and even had a separate section with another sink which could be used for hand laundry if needed. Between the two rooms was a little hallway, which gave us some extra space. Apart from our own room we had access to a big room with tables, chairs, etc., the kitchen with refrigerator, etc., and the balconys – the upper one with tables and chairs used for breakfast, and in front of that a huge one, with sunbeds, parasol/umbrella, and some lounge sofas and tables. Both balconys had a stunning view over the Tyrrhenian Sea and the mountains surrounding Albori. The owner and host, Teresa, was super friendly and helpful. Every day she served us a delicious Italian breakfast, consisting of coffee, and different kinds og freshly baked buns and pastry – we still dream about that lemon pastry. 😉 Teresa also gave us a lot of useful tips and advices when we had questions about where to eat, what to see, and how to get around along the Amalfi coast. ‘Le Terrazze di Cristina’ is family driven. We also said got to meet Teresas dad and brother and off course the family dog that dropped by our balcony once in a while. Everybody is so nice, and it just give this place a very nice, cosy and family like atmosphere. 😊 This place is the perfect for a vacation at the Amalfi Coast. During our stay we got to see Albori, Vietri, Salerno, Amalfi, Ravello, Positano, Capri, Sorrento, plus some of the other sights in the Campania region, including Napoli, Pompei, Herculaneum and Vesuvio. We had a fantastic holiday here and highly recommend ‘Le Terrazze di Cristina’ to anyone. We would gladly go back next week if we had more days off! 😉 Thank you so much Teresa!
