Le Villi B&B FRIENDLY

We have stayed several times at Le Villi Bed and Breakfast and that in itself is a clear recommendation. We like the hostesses way with all the guests, to make them feel welcome. We like the traditional Tuscany furnishings, nothing from Ikea in sight. Our favourite time to visit is in June and July. That is when the hostess Laura cooks dinner on four nights of the week. A treat not to be missed. Dietary requirements and dislikes are even taken into account if you just let her know beforehand. I'm sure the spaghetti vongole is surperb but not for me. I got something else instead and was very happy. People seem to stay there for three main reasons. Some like to stay close to the opera on the lake, You can walk there or take the bikes that Laura has, free of charge. Others use it as a base from which to visit Pisa/Lucca/Viareggio and the surroundings. The majourity are there though for the beach. Like us. Energetic ones use Lauras bicycles to ride to the beach. We prefer to use our rental car. I never have any hesitation recommending Le Villi to our friends.
