Bed was comfy and a true king, bathroom was immaculate and spacious. Some stairs involved (elevator starts on floor 1 rather than ground floor). Staff were courteous and helpful at every turn. AC blows nice and cold! Restaurant attached to the hotel is also very good. Included breakfast was delicious and they have a water refill station too (so hold onto those expensive plastic bottles). Hotel decor has lots of charm and the location is price to get to the big ticket places such as San Marco plaza and Rialto (<5 min walk for both). There's also a jetty right near the hotel so take a water taxi from the airport for added convenience rather than lugging your suitcases through all of Venice. This hotel is simply the best bang for your buck and was the best hotel of our entire European trip!
