We had a wonderful time in the Malga Candriai. First of all, it's delightfully situated: Candriai, on the Bondone Mountain, is about 20 min. from Trento, with its lovely city centre and its amazing MUSE (Science Museum) which is definitely worth a visit. The view on the valley is spectacular. The malga (a typical settlement in the mountains) is a wonderful compromise between "comfort" and "countrylife". Both rooms and the dining room are spacious, clean and pretty. Outside, a few steps from the front door, there is a building for the animals (a donkey, some pigs, some rabbits and others: my 20 month old son went crazy with them!). There's special consideration for children: a playground in the garden, a lot of toys and books in the dining room, a baby cot, a highchair...And how could I forget to mention the delicious homemade food that lovely Mrs Claudia prepared for us every day? Well, I seldom assign a place five points but this one deserves them all!!
