WE coose this hotel because of the reviews and location My goodness we were DELIGHTED with our choice. A very rare experience to stay in a genuine family run hotel not a chain! The family Franco and wife Llyda couldn't not have been more kind and helpful. That in itself was a huge plus. Then the location WOW !!! Oh those views over the Alps and lake Como from thre bedrooms and the terrace where we enjoyed fabulous GnTs and nibbles whilst the sun went down. The food in the restaurant was great quality, excellent wine list and cooked by Francos brother. A car is really useful to get up from the main road, high into the hills. The location is complemented by a couple of restaurants near it ( one run by Francos cousin). Convenient for the ferry stop to visit other towns . Note , if you require modern facilities ie power showers/ modern furnisings etc this is not your vibe It's for people who value genuine hospitality, great food wine and simply stunning scenery 👌
