La Pavoncella

While travelling around Sardegna with my boyfriend, our last stop was in Tortoli, a small town on the east coast, near the beautiful Golfo di Orosei, where you can find the amazing beaches Cala Goloritze, Cala Mariolu, Cala Luna, La Grotta dei Fichi caves, etc. La Pavoncella is a lovely small B&B with 3 rooms, each characterised with distinctive authentic Sardinian decor. It's located in the city centre while close enough to the road that leads to the nearby beaches, city of Arbatax or the new SS 125 highway going to Cagliari. There's also a public (partially free) parking lot located cca. 100 m from the B&B run. Even though the building itself is located in the centre, the windows of the room are so well sealed that you can't hear any noise coming from the streets. The room was impecably clean and cosy, and had charming handmade traditional Sardinian decor details. The breakfasts were varied and abundand, consisting of fresh fruit, croissants and bread, wonderful homemade marmelades and cakes; yoghurts and cheeses, and freshly brewed coffee. If you don't have a beach umbrella, there's a couple of them you can borrow at the B&B, and in case you need a beach towel or a beachbag, there's some available as well! The hostess, Ms. Anna is wonderful and attentive, she speaks English, German and Italian, and gave us lots of useful information and tips about the area (nearby beaches, navigation, etc). It was definitelly a wonderful experience and I would recommend staying at La Pavoncella!
