Hotel Avio

We stayed for 5 nights from just after Christmas to just after new year and had booked dinner, bed and breakfast. The hotel is very conveniently located next door to a ski hire shop and only 40 to 50 metres away from bus stops which will take you further up the valley. There is free parking for one hour at the adjacent carpark from where you can access the hotel without going outside. There is free and unlimited long term free parking 5 minutes away by foot. It has a great heated ski store area, large games room, nice bar, a nice lounge area close to reception, a large restaurant and good sized eating drinking conservatory just off the bar. The rooms were very nicely furnished and a very good size. They were immaculately clean and the staff were very friendly and nothing was a bother. It is a family run hotel and they are very hard working people who take great pride and joy in the hotel and their business. It was evident throughout our stay that they really wanted us to have a fantastic stay with them. The food was absolutely first class. It just kept coming course after course and it was all freshly prepared and perfectly cooked. We don't speak Italian but there were enough of the staff who spoke good English that it was not a problem. All in all, a fantastic hotel in a beautiful location run by some of the loveliest people you could hope to meet. Thank you for our fantastic stay.
