When we arrived, we had a warm welcome from Sebastiano who had many tips and recommendations to give. It is clear that this man takes great pride in showing the best his town has to offer. Our room had a very nice view of the harbor and a small balcony which sees typical for Sicily. The room was large, and worn at places, but suited us fine. There were quite a lot of stairs to get to the room, but you could also take a small elevator if you didn’t l the extra exercise. The location of the B&B is very good with a short walking distance to everything on Ortigia. And the best that Syracusa has to offer you will find on Ortigia. If you want to go further Sebastiano is happy to help you out with that, and when we left he drove us to the train station telling stories all the way. We would love to come back.
