Gattapone is simply a unique hotel that will charm your eyes as soon as a small lovely building appears in front of you along a romantic path below the Rocca hill, which you can access in Piazza Campello (just one minute walk from the Cathedral). Outside the hotel, a gorgeous nature surrounding the ancient Bridge of Towers is a precious gift to your eyes and heart’s desire of silence and peace. Inside the hotel, that view together with the original furnishings and the wooden stairs create a special atmosphere where any detail has the taste of the past. Mr. Hanke very kindly shares with curious guests the hotel secrets. Gattapone is not only an excellent choice to visit Spoleto and other Umbria towns (Assisi is only 30 minutes car from the hotel), but, above all, an unforgettable experience to escape from noisy daily life, being sure that you will not bear the risk to miss aseptic hotel chains and crowded spa resorts.
