39 reviewsThe villa is in the hills above Sorrento, it is a lovely well kept property and the owners, Anna and Salvatore are a charming couple who make you very welcome and are most helpful in sorting out the best way of visiting places that you want to go to. The room was comfortable and well furnished, breakfast was good with home made cake baked by Anna. Being above the town it is a great retreat from the bustle of Sorrento and is peaceful with great views across the bay from the large garden. You are very free to wander around the garden and play with Argo, a sweet Collie It is better to have your own transport but there is a bus to town a short walk away which runs every two hours. It stops at 18.45 so in the evening Salvatore does offer to collect you or you can take a cab. Walking to town is possible, we did it, but you might not be comfortable in that for a distance the road has no pavement. There is a local restaurant ten minutes walk away that serves very good food and wine at reasonable prices- local Italians eat there! The staff speak good English so there is not a language problem. A warning though- they do not open Mondays.
