The apartment is in the middle of the "Old Town" of Siena & has a balcony with a sensational view of the city, including the cathedrals, over the terracotta rooftops. There are a couple of rooms available in the apartment and the owner, Arrigo - a very friendly & nice young Italian - lived in an apartment next door, so he was there to welcome us, which was appreciated. There was a lovely kitchen/lounge/dining area for our use and of course, tea/coffee facilities. Our room was large and nicely decorated, with windows overlooking the courtyard below and our bathroom was spotless and well appointed. We would definitely recommend a stay at this B & B, remembering that there are 57 steps to walk up to the apartment and there isn't a lift, however it is an easy and well spaced staircase and consequently wouldn't be a problem without a large amount of luggage. Thanks Arrigo for a lovely stay.
