24 reviewsWe were greeted warmly when we arrived and Franco and Luigia showed us up to our room. The room was a suite with a kitchen and living room area (with a pull out bed) and table and chairs, a private bath and bedroom. It oozed rustic charm from the exposed beams, chandeliers and frescos painted on the walls. The kitchen was stocked with a bialetti style coffee pot and coffee and a basket of teas and cappuccino mixes. There was also a small basket of fruit form the garden. The location was a short drive into Siena and surrounded by farm fields, horses and several deer! The pool area was clean and cheerful and we spent the afternoon cooling off in the water and relaxing poolside before heading into Siena for the late afternoon and evening. Breakfast was fantastic. Scrambled eggs with mint, toast with butter and local wine jam and a mixed fruit tart freshly baked. I enjoyed watching a few of the lazy cats roll around in the morning sun, I enjoy animals. In fact one of the reasons we booked our stay here, is because they welcome dogs. My old Irish Wolfhound Grace is quite large and Luigia and Franco doted on her and she had an amazing time as well. I am looking forward to a return visit for the scenery and for the service.
