B&B Camollia

Camollia is a pair of family homes converted into a B&B years ago and run by the family manager, Marco,and his highly experienced staff. The thing that makes this place stand out is the number of smart details about the place to make your stay more enjoyable. I talked to Marco (in English) as much as I could during this trip. He got into B&Bing after a number of years of working in the restaurant industry. Possibly for this reason, the location is very clearly labeled and easy to find from the main street, a VERY important detail that's often missing in Siena. The bathrooms and fixtures therein are not what you would expect at this price point, this is exceptional value for money. The courtyard inside the B&B is wonderful for sitting in and using the high-speed WiFi. Lastly, the breakfast spread is comparable to that of the two-star hotel in this area. Marco and his staff will do his best to help you find solutions to your problems. We had to get from Siena to Volterra by bus, and he looked up the route and explained to me how to navigate the confusing long-distance bus service in the area. This was overall a very positive experience for us and I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.
