We chose Al Vecchio Olmo as it was close to the train station - although like many Sicilian towns, there was a bit a climb uphill to get there! We were warmly welcomed, and shown to our very large room complete with a full kitchen (albeit with nothing other than a small saucepan to cook with). It also gave out onto a nice terrace which we had to oursleves. Our hostess did not stay on the property and reappeared next morning to serve breakfast at the time we specified. We were catching an onward train at 1pm, and there was no problem checking out later than the prescribed time.
