Enjoy_the_breeze

I booked and stayed 4 nights. The friendly receptionist was there at the time I nominated for my arrival by train. She only spoke a small amount of English but enough to get my booking sorted. No breakfast available but there are a few wrapped food items you are allowed to take to make your own breakfast in your room. No extra payment required. Gave me a detailed booklet which was in English to help with my sightseeing. The first room I was given #12 (red) had an issue with wifi which couldn’t be fixed immediately so she moved me from a double room to a quadruple room #14 (blue). The blue room was great as there was a lot more room but no lounge. TV has no English channels but I was able to stream from iPad with HDMI cable. Bins emptied and fresh towels provided each day. The only issue and it is a big one for some, the noise of the bells ringing outside the station masters office every time a train is due to arrive is very loud and quite annoying. Try and get a room at the other end of the building. Room 14 is directly over the station masters office so it’s loudest here. Lower number rooms may not have it so bad. No trains at night so it didn’t wake me up. I just learnt to ignore it but I know some people would be screaming.
