We had a very nice stay and friendly staff.#Carmelonumber1. We also had a great time at the pool and beach with Mario and the aqua gym. The accommodations were very spacious and the hotel has a beautiful view.

We visited Sicily in October and we found this hotel during our trip. We booked for 1 night but then we decided to stay longer for other 2 days. It was a pleasure to stay there. All the staff is very friendly and helpfull. The receptionist are always smiling and they gave us a beautiful room with balcony and seaview on the 3rd floor. Amazing! We had a B&b package, the breakfast was very good. If you are in the nearby i suggest you to go.

I went to Baia d’oro the last october with my family. It’s beautiful for a relaxing holiday. It is directly on the beach and there is also a beautiful big pool with seaview. It is perfect for the my children Who fall in love with it. and the weather was perfect, Always sunny also during october. The service is perfect. I hope we will come back!!!

I have been with my wife at the hotel baia d'oro in Licata(AG).
we stayed seven days with all inclusive where at the reception the very well and very available mission Ilaria has released the orange bracelets with which from 10 am to 10 pm we could take advantage of all drinks (Coca cola,beer and wine).
The food was very good and the waiters were cordial and professional
always ready to take care of the customer.
Inside the hotel You can use the pool and you have the possibility of having your personal parasol to go to the Sea bath.
That says a unscribable stay with everything you need to detach the plug and shout the world that you are on holiday!!

The first thing we noticed when we arrived at Baia D'Oro was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at the hotel. We'd like to give out some compliments to Ilaria (great front office manager) and the rest of her team: Laura & Irene. Together with the hotel manager Adil, they all made sure everything was perfect during our stay,

A big thanks to Katarina at the bar and the rest of the hotel staff, always working with a smile. 

The hotel has its own private beach and a very clean swimming pool. The food was always fresh, in contrary to some other all inclusive hotels, they don't re-use the food. They make make great Italian pizza's and there's enough to drinks throughout the day.

The rooms are clean, make sure you take your own towels to lay on the beach.

This was so far the best vacation we ever had. At first we (my husband & I) thought we just wanted to take a break so it didn't have to be that expensive so we didn't want to expect anything. But for the price...this hotel is really top. Friendliest people/ workers we have ever met. The activity/event crew is very entertaining, very kind, sweet people. We enjoyed our stay very much. Clean rooms and the food is really good. For the price...you don't have to think twice. We are planning to visit this hotel again next year. We miss the whole nicest crew. We love you guys...Laura, Stefano...everybody. The receptionist were very helpful.

Let me start off with the fact that i did really enjoy myself here. The food was great, the lodgings slightly less, but personell and overall service made up for most of its shortcomings.

Things to know when you book here:
If you dont like fish or pasta, dont book here. They serve both about 6 out of 7 days a week. I loved the food, because i like both, but plenty of people complained there wasnt enough meat on the menu. All drinks which are included in this "all inclusive" package are coming from drinks machines. Even the wine and the beer. There is 1 soda machine, 1 juice machine and 1 coffee machine per area, so during dinner, there's always queues for drinks. in 90% of the cases you will be drinking these from plastic cups. Glasses are exceedingly rare and are only placed on tables during dinner. The cola doesnt taste like cola, the sprite not like sprite and basically everything else tastes super-cheap. The coffee is just outright nasty. It has a sour-ish kind of after taste and even the paid coffee at the bar is terrible. Dont buy the coffee, if you need a really good cup of coffee, go to Licata. I can wholeheartedly recommend Bar Montana @ Piazza Elena. They offer great coffee's and espresso for a seriously cheap price. We drank 5 coffee there, for a total of 5 euro's. The coffee in the hotel (the bad coffee) costs 1.8 euro per cup.

The ambiance inside the dining "hall" is ok, but its extremely loud because sounds reflect off of all the walls and windows. There are no curtains or other sound-reducing surfaces in there. Also when there are alot of guests, the kitchen cant keep up with food demands and it results in queues for the popular foods and alot of disappointment when its gone by the time you're up.

Also what most guests dont know about when first visiting, is that for both Lunch and Dinner, if you dont like what's on the menu, you can go to the swimming pool bar and order a freshly made pizza, burgers and French Fries. Also if you dont like the choices of pizza, you can always order a custom one at the bar. Do keep in mind their english is mediocre at best, so be prepared to use hands and feet in order to explain to them what you want exactly.

Another thing you should know is the extended all inclusive they offer. It costs €5 per day and you can only purchase it for your entire stay. But it will extend your all-inclusive drinks ordering time from 22:00 to Midnight. If you dont extend this and want a drink after 22:00, the price for a single beer in a plastic cup is 4 euro's EACH. So do yourself a favor, get the extended all-inclusive and save lots of money if you are a late night drinker. Dont upgrade mid-stay. They make you pay for all the days you didnt use, so only get this on your 1st day or its a waste of money.

The Wifi is another thing. They make you pay 2 euro's a day for it if you want to use it. But its not worth it! Just use your mobile phones mobile data. Its faster than their wifi and more reliable. Their wifi connection is ok, but their router is slower and more dodgy than one of those 1990's 56k6 Dial Up Modems. The speed as well, its terrible.

Some things to know about staff.
Their english is terrible to non-existing. There are some exceptions to this, but not many. The best english speaking staff i encountered there during my stay both worked in the hotel Bar / Pool Bars. Not sure if tripadvisor allows me to name them, but ill do it anyways.

Salvatore (1.6m tall bald guy) speaks reasonably good english. He's an Otaku (google it) and he likes to talk about it. (definately made my day).
Katarina (1.8m tall blonde woman) speaks slightly less good english than Salvatore. However she also speaks Czech and tries her best to speak words from every guest thats currently there.
Giovanni (1.7m Tall slightly greyish haired man) His english isnt very good, but his german makes up for that quite a bit.

These three people made my life alot more enjoyable here. They are the main reason im giving this hotel 5 stars. The cleaning crew as well, they are amazing and do a wonderfull job.
The receptionists are totally clueless tho and their english is just abominable. I went to them with several complaints and questions and their answer every time was "we will look into it" with no follow up and "we dont know". I literally had to tell them to google stuff. They are totally not motivated.

First of all,this is not 5* hotel. So if I evaluate all services with respect to this fact,it deserves without any doubt 5*. Very helpfull and always smiling staff. Especially Katarina on the bar. Rooms are old fashioned but always clean. There is fridge on the room as well (or was at least in our room No. 110). Food ok,not so wide variety,but we were always satisfied,especially pasta,you are in Italy:)Good quality and tasty. Beer within all inclusive program not bad,10' from Holland,slightly sweet,wine also quite fine. Beach very nice and sea as well. It seems to me,that all rooms have sea view. All in all,great value for money,I highly recommend this nice hotel!

Usefull info:Take your own towels with you to the pool and to the beach,they don ´t allow to take hotel towels there. First 3 rows of beds on the beach for fee 10 EUR a day,from 4th row for free. Take something against mosquitos for the night. Nice trip to Etna. All inclusive program only till 10 PM,then you must pay for beverages.

A nice hotel, but with a manual.

Perfect holiday!

The Hotel Baia D'oro is very close to the sea and extremely relaxing. It does not have a safe in the rooms and breakfast is very poor, but staff will always greet you, even if they do not speak English. The hotel restrauant would not be the best around, but there are two beach clubs within a 3 minute walking distance that are the nicest and worth a visit. The beach is amazing! It was just the nicest relaxing holiday I have had to date. It was a shame that the use of the beach loungers was not included in the price of the stay, but that you have to pay extra on leaving. English is a bit of an issue, but just bring an Italian dictionary. It is great!
