Such a really good hotel like no one in the island, after spending two month in Macondo I highly recommend it. Fantastic surrounding area, good accomodation, lunch room with coffee available all day, everything provided by the nice owners Simona and Claudio.
Also for me the much importan and to keep in mind, their fantastic and pleasant staff:  Marco, Vincenzo and Angela! 

The best Hotel in Lampedusa, very friendly atmosphere, lovely place very close to rabbit beach and other beautiful natural spaces.
The hotel is very quite and peaceful the gym and swimming pool are perfect and clean.

The stay at the hotel was beyond expectation.
The hotel is in a lovely location, close to one of the best beaches on the island.

The hotel facilities are very modern and comfortable. The rooms have fantastic views, the pool is a great place to relax, and the gym is equipped with the latest technology.

The hotel staff makes a difference, always helpful and eager to satisfy every wish.
The very hospitable hotel management perfectly coordinates everything.

Probably best option to stay in Lampedusa.

Maconda can be distinguished by excellent correlation of quality and price. This place is available of the whole year. All my needs had been met by managers and personnel. Gym and swimming pool. So I felt comfortable staying there. For sure I highly recommend this place

Dear friends, for the second time I had the opportunity to spend two wonderful months in the Macondo Hotel, on the beautiful island of Lampedusa. This year (2021) I lived in the Macondo Hotel from about the beginning of August to the beginning of October. I really appreciate the friendly or rather family atmosphere of the hotel, the quality of accommodation and the opportunity to order food (Italian cuisine). The staff is very helpful, the owners Claudio and Simona are very helpful in solving any problems. The hotel has a swimming pool, a very well-equipped gym and a TV room where small conferences can be held. We used this room for our video conferences. The hotel also rent me a car for my needs. It is also possible to borrow high-quality bicycles at the hotel.
During my stay at the hotel I also enjoyed an animalteraphy with Fifi dog and Zoe parrot. Those who are interested in astronomy, like me, can borrow an astronomical telescope at the hotel for their observations of the night sky. And Claudio will advise them on the best place to observe the sky at night.
Hotel Macondo is situated in a quiet area and within easy reach of the island center and several excellent beaches.
I was really satisfied with the services of Hotel Macondo. If you are interested in staying on the island of Lampedusa, I can only recommend this hotel.

Stayed there for two months. Comfortable rooms, good service, everything is clean, nice  and cozy. Gym and the sweaming pool are very good despite not the very big size of it. Best wishes to the owners - Claudio and Simona. Will miss you!

Hotel Macondo is  an amazing place where everyone will find peace and fall in love with the charms of Lampedusa. 
The hotel was decorated and designed with great attention to detail. 
The owners of the hotel are exceptionally nice and competent people who know how to take care of their guests.

Very beautiful place and for sure worth to recommend.Rooms are comfortable,clean and cozy. The atmosphere of Macondo is magical,full of flowers and works of art.Guests can relax going to the swimming-pool,sunbath or reading in the hammock.Many amazing beaches are just on walking distance from the hotel,including famous Rabbit Beach with stunning sunsets.
Training in the gym is always avaliable.
Additionaly hospitality of the owners and frendliness of the  personnel is on the highest level. Great holidays😊

I have been living in Macondo hotel for the past 3 month.
I really felt like home thanks to the owners hospitality and generosity 

The facilities in Macondo made my life easier, every necessity was available to make my day better and to concentrate only on my work.

The pool is great, the food is excellent, tidiness and order was no issue.
When you get to know everybody by name you become a friend and a part of Macondo team.

A lot of thanks to Mr. Claudio, Mrs Simona, Mrs Enza, Mr. Marco and all the good people at that place.

I’ve been to many places around europe.
But I’m out of words for this place! It’s like stepping in to a dream and get a new family on it’s way.. 
I arrived a bit injured from a small accident back home. And immediately everyone was envolved in this and helped me in everyway to get better as soon as possible. They’re service was excellent! You did’nt even have to ask for anything. When there was food on the table - you ate. When you needed a drive - they drove you. When you where thirsty - they served you something to drink! 
And they’re food is absolutely the best I’ve ever had at a hotel in all my life. So generous and so genuine homemade - I’m actually longing for a return, just for having a dinner there again!
The hotel area was amazingly stunning beautiful! Clean and calming. The pool that actually has sunbeds in the water, made you feel like not even leaving the hotel for days... but please take your time to do, cos there’s so much do discover, belive it or not - outside as well..! :-)
The only bad thing about my stay at Macondo, was that it ended. I will definitely go back!!

Excellent hotel with fantastic people and unforgettable memories. During my stay I felt like I was a part of the family.The food is amazing, the rooms are very nice, and having the swimming pool and the gym is perfect. I want to thank the Macondo staff (Claudio, Simona, Enza, Marco, Adam) for all their support, and for making my stay more pleasant.They became my friends.I can't wait to come back again to Macondo Hotel.

SIMPLY THE BEST

Very nice hotel with great staff which offer an unforgettable enjoyment. Good service and great cousine. I was really satisfied with a gym and a swimming pool area which are in the hotel Macondo. One weakness of this hotel is insufficiently internet connection in some rooms, but anytime you may go to restaurant where is internet conection better.
