As we revisited Trieste in the end of August after having lived there for two years, we especially wanted to stay at Barbaras B&B. We know her from the time, when we lived in Italy, so my family and I were looking forward to see her new B&B. Borgo Grotta Gigante, the small village where the B&B is, is a bit above Trieste but therefore in the beautiful karst - especially admirable in Autumn. Still it is well connected with busses to other villages and Trieste itself. The rooms were very clean and have a marvelous design where you immediately feel home. The interior was very pleasant with the personal style of Barbara. The rich breakfast was prepared very nicely by Barbara in the yard with fresh fruits, homemade cake, eggs and brioche. We are sure everyone who will visit B&B Barbara will be very happy there. She was a great host!
